 Sample of a "complete Happy Birthday cake top".
The top is rolled and cut to size. Punch and place the lace edge into position with a touch of sugar glue. Allow to dry.
Flowers are made and allowed to dry. When dry, use Royal Icing to adhere the flowers to the top's surface.
Slide the completed top into position on top of the cake. Butter icing was used to ice the sides of the cake before the top was placed in position.

 Simple Chocolate Cake/Sponge
Punch sufficient Ash Branches to cover the size of your cake from white fondant icing.
Ice your cake with Chocolate Icing and before completely dry place the white Ash Branches into position.
Note: Chocolate Icing must be nearly dry, too wet and the shapes will sink.
