FLORAL PUNCH CRAFT NEWSLETTER May – June, 2003
Winter is fast approaching the Australian readers with our glorious Autumn fading. The colours of Autumn in Melbourne are glorious and inspiring.
Our Webmaster has added strength in his household with the birth of a baby son, Joshua. Both Pat and Joshua are well and there is no truth in the rumour “Michael is teaching him how to surf the net”.
A hearty welcome to our new staff member, Gaye. With a great sense of humour, she is very capable addition to the Team.
Floral Punch Craft VI has been well received in Australia and abroad. It was very pleasing for Leone when teaching the Cymbidium Orchids recently, to see so many smiling faces when the Workshop was completed.
Credit Cards: The Floral Punch Craft “Online” shopping has Credit Card facilities for MasterCard, Visa and Bankcard. This facility is for retail shoppers only. Online, phone, fax and email orders can use this system. This will be of assistance to overseas customers. Wholesale customers are excluded.
General New: Three Beginner’s Workshops will be held in Mildura in June along with the Cymbidium Orchid. Details are on the website under Agenda on the Home Page.
Each 3 months the Agenda section is updated to give details of what is happening in the Floral Punch Craft world. The “Angel” patterns are popular and keep Leone’s brain ticking.
Floral Punch Craft Association: The Floral Punch Craft Association is growing again. Many names were removed as they had not validated their memberships by including their Location on their Profile page. This is mandatory and is explain prior to clicking the “Agree” button. Unfortunately the same thing will happen again and for the same reason. If you have not completed your Profile, please do so NOW.
There was a crash on the Association’s Message Boards recently. We will change over to a new programme as soon as time permits to avoid a similar occurrence in the future.
New Punches: The Range of Tile Punches has increased with the arrival of 5 new designs. They are selling well and we are out of stock of several designs already. They will be replenished when our June order arrives.
Along with the Tiles punches there are a number of other designs, also arriving in our June order. In July, more new designs will arrive. A good idea to check the website for new punches, ideas and specials each month.
Overseas Trip: Leone and Wayne will be off to Chicago in July for ACCI. Wayne will be teaching the “Make and Take” section on The Punch Bunch” booth. Leone will be at the opposite end of the booth, talking demonstrating and answering questions along with a wonderful display of Floral Punch Craft.
