About me It was in 2000 that I bought my first punches in order to make gift tags to complement my hand embroidered bunny rugs. Other interests of mine include flat dried flower arrangements, cross-stitch, sewing (soft furnishings as well as costumes for drama, and dressmaking) and patchwork. I have also taught various crafts to small groups for many years. Outside, I love my garden and enjoy watching the wildlife that visits us. Enter - Floral Punch Craft - I was hooked. My supply of punches grew as well as my knowledge and love of the craft. I purchased each new book as soon as it became available and of course the "must have" punches. Whilst on holidays in Melbourne in 2004 I was able to visit the shop in Rosanna. Leone came down to meet with me, albeit for just a few minutes. I did spend longer in the shop buying goodies and asking lots of questions. Wayne's willingness to share his knowledge that day, is something I will always cherish. The experience from that day made me more determined to follow my dream that one day I would be able to teach Floral Punch Craft in Queensland. My friends and family have to touch my floral creations to confirm that they are indeed made from paper. The life that can be given to a piece of paper through character shaping is amazing. Cards and other floral pieces, made and given with love, are treasured by those who receive them. Through Floral Punch Craft I have made some new and highly valued friendships. The times when we get together are wonderful days for the giving and receiving of ideas. Cheers Helen
